Over 5 years ago I went to play bingo at Perry Seniors after Covid. I enjoyed the people so much I volunteered to be a Medtransport Driver. I joined the board and worked as a fundraiser. I covered for both the Medtransport Director and the Executive Director. I enjoy all of the people I have met at Perry!

In 2021, I talked to Jim Cooney about opportunities for volunteering in Southport. He suggested Perry Seniors. Since that time I have helped with Wednesday bingo games. It is a joy to connect with seniors and to watch the friendships develop as they socialize. This past year I started volunteering as a driver for the Medtransport Team. I enjoy meeting the people I drive and hearing their stories. It is a worthwhile mission to provide rides for the seniors. I, also, deliver Meals on Wheels 2 - 3 times a month and volunteer at my church. My husband and I have been Southport residents since 1978 and we have appreciated the closeness of the community in Southport.

I have been affiliated with Perry Srs formally since 2020 as a board member. I have attended fund raisers in the past before becoming an official board member. I live in a really old house in Southport and enjoy yardwork, walking my doggies, and public service.

I have been with Perry Seniors for 1 million or 3 years whichever is less. I love speaking to people and have a safeword, Aardvark, given to me by my wife. She supports me and all my crazy ideas. I love giving back to others. Sleep is overrated.

Chuck Winslow
I’m proud to serve Perry Township as a local ambassador to seniors, helping individuals and families understand their options when it comes to Medicare, life insurance, final expense planning, and protecting their legacy. As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, service has always been at the heart of who I am. Today, that service continues through my work with seniors — ensuring they feel supported, informed, and confident in their decisions.
I meet with families throughout the township, providing free personal planning reviews, answering questions, and helping them find the right solutions for their stage of life. I believe no one should face these important decisions alone, and I’m committed to making the process easier and more personal.
Many folks also know me as DJ Chuck — I love bringing joy to our community through music. Whether I’m on the mic at the 4th of July Parade, spinning oldies at a senior dance, or volunteering at the Perry Senior Center, I’m always happy to be part of what makes our community special.
I’m also a proud father and active community leader, committed to lifting others up and making Perry Township a place where all generations feel valued and connected.
It’s an honor to be part of the Perry Senior Services family and deeply grateful for the chance to give back to the people who make this township feel like home.
