Perry Seniors provides free rides to seniors 60 years or older who reside in Perry Township to medical or dental appointments.  All of our rides are provided by dedicated volunteers who use their own cars, gas and time to provide this service.

• Participants must be 60 years old or older and reside in Perry Township.

• Transportation is available to medical/dental appointments Monday - Saturday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

• Ride requests can be made by calling 317-783-9231 or via email to medtransport@perryseniors.org.  Please provide your name, address, phone number, date and time of appointment and address where you are going.  Please give at least 10 days advance notice whenever possible to allow time to schedule our drivers. If your appointment is cancelled, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can make our driver available to others waiting for a ride.

• The client is the only person we can transport to appointments due to liability concerns.

• If you have a physical condition or limitation, use a walker cane or other mobility aid, please let us know so that we can share that information with your driver.  Please be aware that we are unable to transport wheelchair clients at this time.  If you are in need of transportation services that provide for wheelchair needs,  please call CICOA at (317) 803-6153.

• Our drivers are volunteers, using their personal vehicle to drive you to your appointment.  You will be given your driver's name in advance of your appointment and your driver will call you the day before your appointment to confirm the pick-up time.  

• We do not charge for this service, but as a non-profit organization, we appreciate any and all donations to help us keep providing services to our clients.  If you wish to donate you may give your driver the donation.
